Big Foot Resort Policies
(additional policies are , given to campers, posted in each cabin, on-line, and in the office)
Deposits, cancellations and refunds
50% deposit is required within 5 days of making the reservation.
Credit card information is required to guarantee a reservation.
A reservation confirmation will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit.
No refunds are available for early departure.
To receive a refund of your deposit (less $25) we must be able to first secure a new rental of your cabin or RV Site. Partial re-rental is a partial refund to you.
You will be responsible for payment of full reserved stay if canceling within 21 days of your reserved arrival date, if not re-rented.
Rates do not include tax.
Rates & policies may change without notice.
Cabin check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 10:00am.
RV camping check-in is after 3:00pm, and check-out is before 2:00pm
Unless you have received prior management approval to stay beyond the
normal check-out time, you will be charged $20 per hour that you stay beyond
check-out time. We reserve the right to remove your property
to facilitate our preparations for the next guests arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior arrangements (one pet per cabin). Additional deposit and charges may apply.
Pets accompanying an RV stay must be leashed at all times when not inside the camper. There is no additional charge to bring your pet during your RV stay.
Pets must be leashed at all times.
Pick up after your pet, and place it in the dumpster.
Dogs may not be left unattended inside/outside the camper if they may bark or whine.
Occasional barking or whining from a dog is not unusual, but if it is frequent or constant, we will ask that you quiet the pet, or removed it from the resort.
1. Owners home, lower level (west side of the main road near the 3 steel sheds).
2. Basements in Cabins 8 and 9.
Anyone under 21 years of age must be at their site or cabin between 10:00pm - 7:00am or be accompanied by an adult.
Quiet time is from 11:00pm to 8:00am
All of your visitors must register at the office (Minnesota state requirement)
Please deposit all waste in the dumpsters.
Do not dispose of grease in your drains. This will not only clog your drains, but ours as well. Place it in a container, then in a dumpster.
Fires belong only in fire rings, and cans and bottles do not.
No Fishing from Pedal boats, they are for recreation, and are not licensed watercraft. The DNR or Sheriff will fine you.
Please follow water Raft rules. They are for your safety.
To continue driving privileges within the resort, our speed limits must be obeyed.
